Day to Day - Itinerary

Day 1:

Firstly, Fly into San José, Costa Rica. Met by My Costa Rica Representative - Private Transfer from Airport to Hotel - Stay at the Hotel Alta (Deluxe Room) Picturesque Spanish Colonial architecture, minutes from the bustling city of Escazu and the typical Costa Rican town of Santa Ana. The Alta Hotel is the ultimat leader in luxury perfect for your first night in Costa Rica.

Day 2:

Secondly, a Private Transfer to Manuel Antonio from San Jose (approx. 4 hours) - Stay at Tulemar Bungalows (Bungalow) Tulemar offers the ultimate in relaxation. Individual bungalows set on 33 acres of lush tropical forest and gardens. Tulemar offers guests a private secluded beach, 2 miles of hiking trails past a crystalline waterfall to stunning lookout points. Manuel Antonio wildlife greets you at your door. Includes full use of snorkeling and sea kayaking equipment.

Day 3:

Thirdly, Manuel Antonio National Park Tour (approx. 5 hours, morning). Also, Closed Mondays). Look for 3 types of monkeys, 2 types of sloths, birds and insects! One of the areas most popular tours introducing visitors to the most beautiful park in Costa Rica. Above all, a great diversity of wildlife, park entrance, snacks, beverages, and bilingual guide included. What to Bring: camera, t-shirt, shorts and tennis shoes, insect repellent, sun block. Day 4:

Private Transfer to Golfito from Manuel Antonio (approx. 3 hours) - Boat transfer to Playa Cativo from Golfito (approx. 30 min ) - Stay at The Playa Cativo (Deluxe Room) – Meals Included Playa Cativo Eco-Lodge is a luxury beachfront eco-lodge with spacious hardwood rooms featuring stunning ocean views. You will fall asleep listening to the gentle waves and animal and bird noises of the surrounding jungle. The El Gavilan Restaurant offers delicious a la carte meals that are included in every guest’s stay. There is also a lovely fresh water swimming pool and bar for relaxing after your day’s adventures! WiFi in your room and social areas. Too, it Includes: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner. Use of kayaks, standup paddle boards and snorkeling gear inside Cativo Bay. Day 5:

Nocturnal Rainforest Guided Expedition Tour Night time is when the rainforest breathes. Layers of fragrances of nocturnal plants and flowers fill the tropical air along with sounds from the most spectacular inhabitants! Through this night hiking tour, a naturalistic guide will help you discover a rarely seen world and uncover evening creatures in their habitats. It’s a perfect opportunity to see frogs, bats, insects and other wonders of the nocturnal world. - Stay at The Playa Cativo (Deluxe Room) – Meals Included.

Day 6:

Rio Esquinas Mangrove-Ocean Kayaking Tour. We are blessed to have one of the largest and most pristine river systems in Costa Rica. In fact, just a few short beaches away. Also, the mangroves at the Esquinas River’s mouth lead to picturesque views of the forest and remote farms. The diverse terrain allows for some of the best bird watching in the area especially at sunrise and sunset. Presently,  our boat tows your kayak to the mouth of the river where you will embark on a peaceful excursion and experience the magic of nature. - Stay at The Playa Cativo (Deluxe Room) – Meals Included.

Day 7:

Lastly, a Boat Transfer from Hotel to Local Airport (approx. 30 min) - Domestic Flight to San Jose Airport from Golfito Airport - Return flight home (When exiting CR, must pay $26 airport exit tax per person. Check to see if your tax is included with ticket price.
